The landscape in Chantilly is white! There is a lot of snow in Chantilly, and in these circumstances, the all-weather tracks are a blessing for horses to work normally. Les Aigles and Lamorlaye have each their own all-weather tracks, but for the stables situated in Bois Saint Denis who normally train in the forest, it is the all-weather track of the race-course which is used. The technical services of France Galop Chantilly have really worked hard to make the access to the race-course clear and secure. This morning, we saw many horses exercising there: the Fabre (and even Mr. André Fabre on his hack), Windrif, Collet, Clément, Boutin, Botti and Junk.

Year 2012 The last racing day 2012 at Chantilly took place on November 27th. After this first year, the evaluation of this new all-weather track is excellent. All the professionals, jockeys and trainers are unanimous on the qualities of this new track. And we already look forward to racing here in March 2013

All-weather track of the race-course Due to severe cold and very negative temperatures, the all-weather track of the race-course is open for work every day this week. We were there this morning and could see about 100 horses cantering (from trainers Robert Collet, C. Boutin, A. Botti, J. Phelippon, B. Renk).

The works to build the all weather track are practically finished
On tuesday 20th, several trainers (Robert Collet, Criquette Head, Mikel Delzangles and Brigitte Renk) sent horses to canter on the new track. The trials were satisfactory and we have now to wait for the first racing-day on March 3rd 2012.
